Fast, Precise, Robust
North Robotics systems transport samples, cap and uncap vials, and dispense liquid and solid samples quickly and accurately. Our platforms are designed to increase the throughput and repeatability of your manual workflow. During capping operations, the torque of the cap is constantly monitored for incredible reliability, while closed loop dispensing over a 0.1 mg balance ensures each dispense operation is within tolerance.
Closed Loop Discovery
Because North Robotics systems are programmed with Python, they are well-suited for integration with your closed-loop discovery autonomous materials discovery application.
In example video, the platform performs color matching using an implementation of Bayesian optimization from SciKit-Learn. Candidate samples are prepared using a ratio of red, green, and blue dye from the syringe pumps and carousel before being characterized with a camera. The next sample’s ratio can then be suggested by the optimizer.
